Due to their elevated location facilitating defence, units standing on high ground are at an advantage when faced by attack. Therefore, any unit standing on such spots shall fight with +1 attack and +1 defence points when in defence (being under some form of attack by the enemy). These modifiers shall be applied against all assaults.
Beyond this, artillery units stationed on high ground can bombard the enemy from an advantageous position. As a result, artillery units perched atop hills are able to launch distance assaults with +1 points if using their artillery attack capability.
